Formula 1 Prediction | McLaren are Dominating on Track
We have a new leader in the Constructors Champioship, thanks to some amazing driving by Oscar Piastri at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Piastri was able to split the Ferrari's on the grid at the Baku City Circuit and then later on challenge Charles Leclerc for the lead of the race. What followed was a defensive masterclass with all the right answers to Leclerc’s relentless questions.
The Battle continues for round three in Singapore and McLaren are dominating F1 since their major upgrade in Miami. Maintaining that consistency as they’ve continued to develop the car, and they now lead the constructors’ championship.
Last year Carlos Sainz took a hugely impressive tactical victory in Singapore when he held off Norris and the two Mercedes drivers, so could there be another Ferrari v McLaren fight this time around?

Charles Leclerc was disappointed to lose out on a win in Baku but Leclerc focused on the positives that Ferrari are in good form and are backing up their expectations so far that they would be strong in Monza, Baku and Singapore. So that bodes well for the Scuderia this weekend.
Last year we saw Carlos Sainz win the Singapore Grand Prix where he was able to held off Norris, therefore we could very likely see another battle between Ferrari and McLaren. Who will it be this year?

In recent years we could see that Red Bull has not been as strong in Singapore, where they couldn’t get the car to perform on the street circuit and were unable to challenge for the podium.
Last weeks race in Baku was very encouragingly for Red Bull as we saw Sergio Perez's performance as he looked very comfortable fighting for victory until the late collision with Sainz. This gives more hope to the drivers heading to Singapore.
Perez’s showing coming when the Red Bull is not at its most competitive is a positive sign, and he’ll need to replicate that in Singapore to try and help keep McLaren in range in the constructors’ championship. He can also play a role in helping defend Verstappen’s lead, too, but if Red Bull struggle once again then we could see some big swings in terms of the championship points.
