F1 Race Predictions Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2023

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix is held in the country’s capital city of Baku. This is one of five street circuits currently scheduled in the F1 calendar though unlike Monaco for example, Baku is a large circuit with long, high-speed straights.
WINNER
Max Verstappen has won last year Azerbaijan Grand Prix with a big lead over his closest attacker Sergio Perez. After a double failure by Ferrari, it was George Russell who was allowed to take the podium. Behind him, Lewis Hamilton was fourth and Pierre Gasly rounded out the top five.
Our prediction for the Winner of this years race in Baku is Max Verstappen. He started his season off really well and has the best pace to make it to the end. Similar to last year Max Verstappen will win with a big lead.
PODIUM
Charles Leclerc had a rough start of the 2023 season, but now that all the kinks of the car are set aside, we strongly believe that he has all what it takes to get on the Podium. For the last 3 consecutive years at Baku Charles has made Pole Position and sets a great start to finish on the Podium.

TOP 6 FINISH
The 2023 F1 season is three races old and that means we can already draw some conclusions. After the winter test it was already clear that Max Verstappen and Red Bull would become champions again. But after the first three races, we can say that Aston Martin has the best credentials to finish second behind the championship team. Of course, Mercedes and Ferrari can still improve. But for now, the Aston has the pace in both qualifying and races to beat the other two big names. In all three races Fernando Alonso finished on the podium and for the upcoming race in Baku we expect nothing less.

IN THE POINTS
This driver has fought like crazy in the past three races, and always ended up in 11th position. It was thanks to a penalty on Carlos Sainz that caused him to move to 12th position and thus pushing Yuki Tsunoda to 10th position. This was his first points of the season and he is hungry to do it again.
Our Prediction for In The Points Finish at this years race in Baku is Yuki Tsunoda. Yuki Tsunoda is a great racer and has improved a lot over the past year. The first few races he has been unlucky and finished 11th but will soon be a regular in the points.
