Lando Norris drives into the Italian Grand Prix as a two time Race Winner and is currently looking to close the gap even more.
Norris’s win at Zandvoort was the biggest winning margin of the season to date, and has increased the belief that he could still pose a true threat to Max Verstappen in the drivers’ championship this season.
McLaren are confident in their low downforce package, though, and have their sights set on closing the gap to Red Bull in the constructors’ championship even further. A win and fourth place in the Netherlands saw it reduced to 30 points, so with a maximum of 44 available during the weekend they could theoretically take the lead at Monza.

Ferrari wants to make sure they don't lose too much ground to the Red Bull in the constructors Championship and limited that loss to just a solitary point. And now they look to increase that pressure with new upgrades.
The remaining races are looking good for Ferrari as the car suits better in Monza, Baku and Singapore and with new upgrades for this weekend they aim to try and return to winning ways.
Last year it was a Carlos Sainz pole position that sent the tifosi wild on Saturday, and although they couldn’t quite stay in touch with Red Bull in the race the two drivers still put on a show in the battle for the final podium spot.
With so many teams in the mix when it comes to victories this season, expect a special atmosphere as Ferrari look for a home win this weekend.

Red Bull and Max Verstappen are defending champions for a reason and will be eager to halt any momentum McLaren and Lando Norris are building up.
It was a wild ride in Zandvoort when Verstappen sent the home crowd crazy by slotting ahead of Norris when the lights went out, but, his time at the front was short-lived. With the McLaren package again proving to be faster than Red Bull’s, Verstappen admitted that he simply “tried to be second” and limit the damage. In that sense, it was job done for the reigning three-time world champion.
“We need to understand where the deficit is, I think we’ve learned quite a lot this weekend but you can see the pace they had at this track was outstanding so we need to understand how we can improve performance on our car,” Horner explained.
