F1 Race Predictions Monaco Grand Prix 2023

The Monaco Grand Prix is considered one of the most prestigious track races in formula history and winning here is what every driver dreams of. Monaco is a street race with small roads, where there will be very little passing done. It is not impossible but here in Monaco the most important part of the race starts with qualifying and then tyre strategy. Who will get Pole at the Monaco Grand Prix and who will win outright?
WINNER
Charles Leclerc has been really great at qualifying in Monaco with 2 straight pole position in 2021 and 2022, but has never won a race in Monaco yet. Many believe this is due to the Monaco Curse, and this is why we will not be choosing Leclerc to win. Max Verstappen has won the Monaco GP in 2021 and knows this track very well. The rebull car has been performing very well during practice and we believe that Verstappen will get both pole and the win on Sunday Race Day.
Our prediction for the Winner of this years race in Monaco is Max Verstappen.
PODIUM
The Monaco Curse did not allow Charles Leclerc to win a race in Monaco yet, but that does not mean that Leclerc is not able to outperform the other teams. This is a home race for Leclerc and because he has a lot to prove at home, he will be giving his all to get to the podium. During practive one the Ferrari's showed really good pace and giving us great confident that Lecletc will podium.
Our prediction for a Podium finish at this years race in Monaco is Charles Leclerc.
TOP 6 FINISH
During the first few races it was clear that Mercedes was not able to compete for world title with the current car they had. Going back to the drawing board, they have decided that changes had to be done. This week we were able to see some of these changes and get a glimpse of the performance during practice. We don't believe that the new side pods and car is ready yet. We believe that Lord Lewis Hamilton will be stuck behind the Redbull's and Ferrari's but not too far behind. Hamilton will push the car to the limits to get as many data as he can in order to continue improving the car.
Our prediction for a Top 6 Finish at this years race in Monaco is Lewis Hamilton.
IN THE POINTS
This last prediction is always tricky, as we would love to choose both Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon. However, without being able to explain a lot we have a gut feeling that Ocon will be the biggest surprise this weekend and outperform Gasly and making it in the points.
