Formula 1 Prediction | First European race
The most important formula 1 race of the season thus far is easily this weekends Emilia Romagna Grand Prix at Imola. Because it is the first European F1 Race of the season, which means it is going to feature pretty much every team introducing a big upgrades to their cars.
If you are new to F1, teams are constantly upgrading their cars mid-season in an attempt to try and find some extra performance. Some teams like McLaren like to jump the gun for the season that you just saw in Miami. But, most teams will wait for the first European f1 race of the season to introduce their first big upgrade package.
This is because teams have had sufficient time to learn the areas of their cars that need upgrading and to develop these upgrades. And because teams are all headquartered in Europe its logistically easier to bring a big upgrade package to a race in Europe, especially considering these upgrades are often worked on until the very last minute.
If one or more teams has managed to develop a magic bullet upgrade similar to McLaren's last two mid-season upgrades the Formula One pecking order could be completely shuffled as early as this weekend.
Formula 1 Prediction | Can McLaren get back to back wins with their new upgrades?
Last week in Miami, Mclaren brought new upgrades to their car that ended up giving Lando Norris his first Race Win. But, as the European season is starting and many other teams to follow with new upgrades can McLaren keep the pressure on and produce a back to back win in Imola?
Lando Norris’ first ever victory in Formula 1 was special enough on its own, but for McLaren it came with the 24-year-old showing he had the quickest car in the field on the day, rapidly closing in on the front runners on old medium tyres when released from traffic, and then pulling away comfortably on the hard compound after the Safety Car period.
This is not going to be easy to replicate every race as every track is going to be different and some will be more difficult to handle. This weekend we will truly find out how competitive the car really is and wether they are now try challengers to Red Bull at most tracks.

Formula 1 Prediction | Can Ferrari get a win at their home race?
This is the home race for Ferrari and it's not just McLaren who will hope to be fighting for the win in Imola this weekend. Ferrari are most motivated on this track and are hoping to conquer this weekend at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari.
There is a lot of hope for Ferrari on the challenge against Red Bull as this is already the second loss for them this season in the first six rounds which is more than they have lost in the entirety of last season.
Ferrari are expected to bring the first significant upgrade of their own to Imola, targeting a home race and the first round of a back-to-back involving Monaco. Based on Miami, they won’t need a huge gain from it to be right in the mix, assuming Red Bull don’t bring an update as well

Formula 1 Prediction | Can Red Bull get back on top?
It might look like a big defeat after the Miami Grand Prix for the Red Bull, but at the end of the day a bad day at work resulted in P2 which is a position anyone on the grid would want to have.
Coming to the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, Max Verstappen is still the favorite going into the seventh race weekend of the season, the Dutchman often bouncing back strongly following a rare defeat.
