Formula 1 Prediction | Red Bull vs. McLaren continues Part 3
The Fallout from last week resulted in a crash between Max Verstappen and Lando Norris.
Lando Norris has finally gotten the competitive car he always hoped for and hes comfortably enough to challenge Verstappen for Victory. Last week we saw the battle boil over as the pair made contact fighting for the win in Austria on Sunday.
The stewards declared Verstappen to be predominantly at fault for the incident, handing him a 10-second time penalty and two penalty points as they had for other collisions at the same corner. But as you would expect, there were differing opinions from those involved.
Norris was unhappy, Verstappen came to race and the team principles each defending their drivers on the situation. Whether there have been any discussions between Verstappen and Norris themselves will also be a point of focus, with the pair having previously enjoyed a good relationship off the track.
Can Max Verstappen put this incident asside and focus to win the British Grand Prix?

Formula 1 Prediction | Mercedes duo have picked up the pace
Mercedes have been making improvements over the pass few rounds and it has finally paid off. We could have seen them win in Canada, where George Russell finished third and Lewis Hamilton fourth. And now finally to win the Austria Grand Prix.
Apart from the collision between Verstappen and Norris, George Russell had to work for that third spot that eventually allowed him to win the race. It was a strong performance to keep Oscar Piastri and Carlos Sainz at bay.
One area that Mercedes have really improved is with their car development, as multiple upgrades have helped close the gap to Red Bull and McLaren, moving them marginally ahead of Ferrari in the last two rounds.
The performance in Barcelona, where Hamilton was third, suggests Mercedes could well be a threat for the podium once again at what is a home race for both of their drivers. And if they bring further upgrades to Silverstone then it’s not completely out of the question that they could repeat their Canada form and threaten another win.

Formula 1 Prediction | McLaren duo aiming for Silverstone win
It was an awful result for Lando Norris after his collision with Max Verstappen that ended his race with a DNF. But on the other hand there was a strong performance by Oscar Piastry that saw him going from Sixth place and catching up to Lewis Hamilton and Carlos Sainz to then at the end claim P2 for yet another McLaren Podium.
The Australian may have scored his fourth F1 podium here at the Red Bull Ring, but he was ultimately left disappointed with his second-placed finish. Had there been a few more laps to go of the race, there is every chance the Australian could have caught Russell ahead.
Lando Norris's afternoon may have ended in retirement, but only after an epic battle for the lead with world champion Max Verstappen. The McLaren driver pushed it to the limit and beyond and provided us with thrilling motor racing entertainment.
